Cekue Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 22, 2026. This policy explains how the app handles information when you import images, crop them, save local history, export results, or make App Store purchases.

Section 1. Where This Policy Applies

This Privacy Policy applies to the Cekue app and the features it offers on your device. The app is designed as a local image cropping tool, so the core workflow can run without creating an account or relying on cloud processing.

By using the app, selecting a photo, saving a crop result, exporting to Photos, or buying Coins, you are using the services covered by this policy.

Section 2. Information You Choose to Use

The app handles the information you choose to open or enter. That may include:

  • the image you select from your device photos or files;
  • crop settings such as ratio, width, height, and crop frame position;
  • local result records, history entries, and favorite flags;
  • Coin balance and purchase-related status stored on the device;
  • support messages or other details you send to us directly.

If you contact support, we will receive the information contained in your message and any files or screenshots you choose to send.

Section 3. How Information Is Used

We use information to provide the cropping workflow, render previews, keep local history, restore recent settings, and reflect your Coin balance after a successful purchase. We also use it to show error states, confirm export actions, and help you finish the task you started.

We do not use your images to train models, build advertising profiles, or turn the app into a cloud gallery. The app is intended to process and save content locally unless you choose to share or export it through a system feature.

Section 4. Local Storage and Retention

Crop results, local history, and related preferences may be stored on your device or in the app sandbox so the app can show recent work and let you reopen saved items. If you delete a history item, clear app data, or remove the app, those local records may be removed as well.

We keep local records only as long as needed for the app features you use. The app does not need a server-side account record to remember your work.

Section 5. Photos, Apple Services, and Purchases

The app may request access to your device photo picker or Photos library only when you choose to import an image or export a finished result. You can manage those permissions in your device settings.

Coin purchases are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple handles the transaction infrastructure and payment details under its own terms and privacy practices. We receive the purchase result needed to update your local Coin balance and unlock the related features.

Section 6. Your Choices

You can choose whether to import images, save results, export to Photos, or make in-app purchases. You can also remove the app, clear its local data, or revoke permissions through your device settings.

If you do not want the app to access a photo, do not select it. If you do not want to store a crop result, do not save it to history.

Section 7. Children and Sensitive Content

The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. Because the app works with user-selected images, you should avoid importing or sharing content that you do not have the right to use.

Section 8. Updates and Contact

We may update this policy when the app changes or when legal requirements change. If we do, the new version will replace the old one once it is posted in the app or in the place where the policy is shown.

Questions about this policy can be sent to support@cekue.app.

This policy is meant to describe the current app behavior in plain language and should be read together with the device and Apple service terms that apply to your use of the app.
